Children’s Church:
Ages 4 through 3rd grade

After the children’s sermon during the 10:45 worship service, children leave for about 20 minutes and have music and fellowship. They follow a curriculum, “Growing in Grace”, a fun, pedagogically-sound, and biblically-based curriculum. The songs have been carefully written to ensure they are developmentally appropriate for the child, both theologically and musically and help each child develop his or her natural singing skills, increase in musical knowledge, and grow spiritually. They will have a Bible-based devotion and other types of activities to enhance worship and learning. The children will return to worship before Holy Communion.

Sunday School Classes:

Our Pre-K to Elementary classes will use the Augsburg Fortress curriculum Witness! This curriculum is a great way to teach children how to “Learn from the Bible to Live the Good News.” Teachers, students and parents read and explore the story of God’s love together with activities that help the entire community live out the love of Jesus in every aspect of life!

  • Age 4 – Kindergarten – Room 125 *
  • 1st to 2nd Grade – Room 120 *
  • 3rd to 4th Grade – Room 115 *
  • 5th to 6th Grade – This class uses Augsburg Fortress curriculum Re:form. This curriculum is fully customizable curriculum that is rooted in historic Christianity, but speaks to youth on their level and empowers them to discover for themselves what they believe with the guidance of their parents as teachers. This curriculum is engaging while being instructive, and is multimedia including DVD’s, discussions, activities and a very cool Anti-workbook.

Each meets Sunday mornings 9:00 a.m. in the designated classrooms.*
