At Spirit of Joy!, we are happy to host 3 AA groups and 1 Al-Anon group here in our building.
We believe that joyful people live generously, and generously sharing the space of our building is one way that we serve our neighbors in this community.
As of October 2020, all of these groups are meeting in-person.
These groups are run by outside organizations, following their own nationally recognized programs.
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope to help one another recover from their common problems. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
- Al-Anon is a fellowship of the relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope to help one another recover from their common problems. Al-Anon has one purpose: To help the families of alcoholics.
